| Honed Travertine with a smooth, non-reflective surface achieved by grinding the surface. | |||||||||||||
| Tumbled Travertine which has been processed so that it looks "aged" or "antiqued" with rounded corners and edges.
Both honed and tumbled travertine can be purchased as unfilled or filled. |

| Unfilled: Travertine with its natural holes and pits. See the first picture below. Some people purchase unfilled and then fill the holes and pits with grout for a different, blended look as in the second picture.
Filled: Travertine with its natural holes and pits filled with hardener and dust during the cutting and honing process. |
